For this month’s blog, I wanted to highlight a project I did for AFJ Digital client Promevo, an IT consulting company and Google Premier Partner in Covington, Kentucky. I was approached by a former colleague to write an AI guide on how businesses can implement and adopt AI in their organizations, and based on my marketing background in tech and innovation, they thought I would be a great fit.

Promevo’s goal was to take all of the information they shared from their webinar series, The Executive’s Guide to AI in Business, and have it all together in one guide. To do this, I covered several topics in the guide including:

1. What is generative artificial intelligence (gen AI) is and how is it used
2. How does a company know if it is ready for AI
3. What considerations leadership should take to make AI work for their organization
4. How to create a plan for adopting and regulating AI based on best practices, security standards and other obstacles and challenges
5. How to get buy-in from employees to be AI champions
6. Case studies highlighting success stories from their clients

These topics included key quotes and insights from AI thought leaders featured in the webinars, and I internally linked to the Promevo website as much as possible. I wanted to take advantage of all of the company’s resources and find opportunities to promote more than the content in their webinars.

In the end, I was able to write an engaging and helpful guide that pulled all of these aspects together in a compelling narrative. It was a fun challenge to write about a topic where I had some knowledge, but not from a business perspective. I also learned so much from the thought leaders who use this technology often and have a deep understanding of it. They’ve seen the changes in AI over the years across all aspects of the technology, so they know what works and what doesn’t.

For me, it’s much more enjoyable to write something that’s exactly what a target audience would want and find value in, and this project delivered.
